What kind of products are eligible to be sold on Tealcart?
Tealcart provides you a platform whereby you can sell your unique products which includes (but not exclusive to) home décor, women’s fashion, men’s fashion, kids’ products, vintage items, crafts and stationery.
How does selling on Tealcart.com work?
Selling on Tealcart.com is easy. Follow these simple steps and you are ready with your online shop.
i. Identify the products that you want to sell on Tealcart.com marketplace.
ii. Register yourself on Tealcart.com. Please click here to register.
iii. Customer sees your product and makes a purchase.
iv. You will receive a notification to ship the product.
v. You deliver the product to the customer and confirm shipment.
iv. Tealcart will deposit the funds into your bank account after deducting its fees.
I have my own website, can I still sell on Tealcart.com?
Tealcart is a platform that enables you to connect with a wide variety of buyers looking for unique products. Through Tealcart you will definitely have a wider reach and more visibility.
I don’t have a website, can I still sell on Tealcart.com?
You don't need a website to start selling on Tealcart.com marketplace. Once you complete registration, you will have access to our seller-centric platform using which you can list your products for sale.
What do I need to register as a seller on Tealcart.com?
Tealcart is for sellers to sell their products online. Click on the 'OPEN SHOP’ button and register yourself. You can upload your products and related information. Please go through the next question if you are unable to do this step. After going through your profile and products, our curators will update your status to active, after which you may proceed ahead with managing your Tealcart shop. Once you achieve the active status, your products will be visible to all the users of Tealcart.
VAT/CST Details are mandatory and need to be provided after registration
In case I am not able to open my own shop, can Tealcart help?
Please send us an email with photographs of your products and we will open the online shop for you. Once the shop is open, we will provide you with your username and password. You can manage the shop thereafter.
How do I change the username or password on my account?
Log into ‘My Account’ and under the Account Information section on the Dashboard, click on Change Password. You can change both your username and password on this screen.
Can I sell outside India through Tealcart.com?
Very soon after our initial launch, we will be launching our international operations too.
If I list my products on Tealcart.com, will the customer know that he or she is purchasing from me on Tealcart.com marketplace?
We will clearly indicate the name of the seller on our product detail pages and offer listing pages that the product is sold by you and the invoice will carry your name.
Fees and Charges
What are the charges for selling on Tealcart?
We charge you when the sale of your product is completed. Subscription is free. Listing of products on Tealcart.com is free.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You are free to cancel anytime.
How and when do I get paid?
Tealcart will disburse payments to your bank account once a week. You will be eligible to get paid for the order 15 days after the order is confirmed as shipped.
Managing your Account
Can I get help for capturing images of my products?
Most important aspect of branding and promoting your product starts with a good picture. Let your pictures speak about your product. Where can I get Tealcart branded packaging material?
The Tealcart branded packaging material will be provided by us. You just have to call us at +918000945000 or write to us at email@example.com to order your material.
Can customers leave feedback and why is customer feedback important?
Yes. Customers can leave feedback. Maintaining a high feedback rating is a critical factor, and it’s the best way for customers to identify you as a trustworthy seller. Your rating will appear on the product page and is one of the first things that customers will be seeing.
What is ‘My Account’?
‘My Account’ is a tool we have created for buyers, that allows you to view and manage your transactions and orders anytime on our website. It allows you to:
manage/edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids
change your password
track the status of your orders
How do I create an account?
After clicking on “My Account”, it gives you two options: “New Customer” is one of them. Press on “New Customer” and fill in the information required (name, email address, and password) and you are good to go. You can add additional information if you desire so that your information stays with us securely and makes your future transactions easier.
Do I need an account to shop on Tealcart?
Yes, an account is needed to shop at Tealcart. You need to register and create an account so that when you return in the future, our system will remember your address and contact information. This will save you the trouble of having to fill them out again. This password can also be used to make changes to your account information saved in our systems. You can also create an account at the time of checkout by choosing a password when you enter your address and other contact details.
How do I update my shipping or billing address?
If you have not yet placed an order and wish to update your shipping or billing information, please follow these instructions:
1) Login to your account through the “My Account” link on the screen and click on Address Book (from the right-hand menu)
2) On the Address Book screen, click on Add New Address and add the new address
3) Before you save it, check the boxes at the bottom to use the address as your default billing or shipping address
If you would like to change the billing or shipping address of an order that was placed but not yet shipped, please contact customer support immediately and they can help you with your request.
We unfortunately won’t be able to help you update your shipping or billing address for a recent order that has already been shipped.
How do I change the email or password on my account?
Log into ‘My Account’ and from the right-hand menu, click on Change Password. You can change your password on this screen.
Orders and Tracking
How do I check the status of my order?
You can review the status of your order and all the related information, including shipping details, from your account. Please login through “My Account” and click on “Order History” to view the status of all orders. How and when can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order before it reaches the "Completed" state by calling Tealcart customer support at the number listed on our Contact Us page.
If I get a defective/damaged product will Tealcart replace it?
In such a case we will replace the product for you free of cost. You need to only inform us within 48 hours, and we will schedule a pick up and replace the product as soon as possible. In order to successfully complete this process and get your replacement product, you will need to get in touch with Customer Care and follow the terms and conditions. In case the product is out of stock or is irreplaceable, we will offer you store credit or refund depending on the product.
